Keep Your Stick on the Ice!

Well sometime today our new mission president is going to come and our old one will leave. We don’t know when or when we are going to meet him. But I don’t think that we would have to wait that long. I do work in the same city as the mission home. So who knows?

It’s been raining a lot lately but it’s only been getting hotter. Funny how that is huh?

We found an old man the other day. Well really we saw him everyday on the same corner sitting in a wheel chair with a Chihuahua. So one day we decided to talk to him. (Really bad missionaries right?) And we found out that he had just came from the United States and that he has been going to the church for about forty years. Assuming that he was a member we told him where the church was and told the bishop about him. The other day the bishop went to visit him and found out that he wasn’t a member but that he has been going to church this whole time like he had told us. So tomorrow my companion and I are going over to talk to him a little about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, and if he has a testimony about those things, we just might baptize him this next Thursday.

That’s about all for this week. Love you all. Keep your stick on the ice!
